If you try and put a quality sub that is more than 700 i am sure you will have heat issues as well as it going in protect. Go with Brutus line if anything, same board design but much better components.

How much power your sub can handle has no effect on how much power your amp is or is not going to put out or how hot it will get. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

And who said lower ohms means lower power? That is retarded...i said put a better quality amp on his sub. That zues wont handle his sub, it will burn out
gattiboy13 Posted December 16, 2013 Report Posted December 16, 2013 I meant if you have that amp at 1ohm to a 1,000 watt sub it wont do to well and more likely burn out. Now if you put a sub that was lets say 600-700 rms it might push it ok. But for your needs go with Brutus if anything.

That zues wont handle his sub, it will burn outThe amp will not blow up if the sub has a higher RMS rating , it just means the sub won't be pushed to its potential. Heck Steve Meade wired a 500 watt Rockford to a 18 fi and it moved it pretty good its just not going to sound the same.. and as for as his amp yes it will push it just not anywhere close to where it should be. It would only mess up the amp if it was wired at a lower impedance than the amp allows it.
