S15_Silvia Posted December 13, 2013 Report Share Posted December 13, 2013 Hey guys, just wanted to share with you that I've successfully gotten CM10.2 working flawlessly on my Verizon GS3. For those who are getting impatient with Verizon's incredibly slow OTA updates (and not to mention the Samsung TouchWiz and endless other bloatware BS that come stock on these) it's not a bad option. I'm considering doing a big writeup of the process on here over my winter break if anyone is interested. If you don't know what CyanogenMod is:http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Main_PageIt's basically a stock Android ROM that can be installed on various devices in place of whatever came with the phone. In the case of the Verizon GS3, it replaces the Verizon/Samsung-tainted 4.1.2 (complete with endless BS) with stock 4.3.1. I have an S3 just laying there that I dont use because I don't want to start over from my S2.
