Deadly hertzz
So I've been seeing a lot of back and forth between the -5 and -10 track just set my gains with the -10 should I be worried about hurting my equipment Quote 8 sundown sa 12s walledSaz3000 at .5HO altAll ofc Sky high wireAlpine componentsRockford power mids
Guest
if you know the songs you play and are willing to accept the risks, then do -10. if you play a bunch of decaf/bigpimpin, then -10 is pointless.
OrionStang
I set my shit with the 0db track. Honestly, I don't know why the device was offered with option when it s meant to help prevent clipping/distortion. I could be wrong but I think most music across the dynamic range not just bass is less than -5db. Quote Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. OrionStang
Just use -5. Have you even figured out how to know what voltage your line driver is putting out? Have you purchased a DMM? Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

Deadly hertzz
Yeh had a dmm and set the line driver to like 5.5 then I used the dd1 on the amp, just curious what tone should I have played to set the line drivers voltage I think I had it set with a 40 0db track from before and just left it then used the -10 track on the amp Quote 8 sundown sa 12s walledSaz3000 at .5HO altAll ofc Sky high wireAlpine componentsRockford power mids
oldsoundguy
I just came in from playing with my DD-1 I noticed that setting my full range with -10 is no good. To much distortion. -5 is perfect. I had the sub set on -10 but really the same thing. -5 is good to go.
