Not the best video, but this is my dad's new toy...

04 6.0 with ARP head studs, EGR delete, 4 inch straight pipe, and a few other things. He's been letting me drive it around a bit while my S4 is down, and I'm thinking one of these will be my next vehicular purchase! The S4 would be staying, of course lol

duuuude. fuckin love 6.ohs.

pieces of shit to the first guy, but gems to the next. I bought a fully loaded minus sunroof 04 Lariat FX4 for $3800. just had head gaskets done, needed a fly wheel. If you have a lift, buy a fucked up 6.0. Yank the cab off, and delete/stud that mother fucker. EGR delete takes like 3 seconds, well not really but it's easier than fuck. Throw a set of ARP studs, a sinister diesel oil cooler(actually their basic 6.0 kit is like $800 and has everything you need other than studs/headgaskets/FICM), and you'll be set. Might want to look into a a BulletProofDiesel FICM, since the OEM FICM(fuel injector control module) is garbage. Depending on your power goals and shit, you'll have to decide if you want to stick at 48v, or bump to 53v or 58v. We got a 58v FICM used on our last 6.0, had a bully dog GT on it when we got it. We did a Sinister EGR delete, and OEM oil cooler rebuild with new seals, gutted the cats and muffler delete. Jesus christ that mother fucker ran good. Had about $3400 in that truck apart from tax/title. Sold it for $10k.

but stay away from 6.4's lol. They run harder than 6.0's when tuned but are twice as expensive to fix. You could have less than $10k into a pair of 6.0's and sell them both for $25-30k to the right buyer. Can find used 6.7's for that much, get mad power and fuel economy out of them, plus they are dead quiet.

This one came with a ton of papers, one of which was for a new OEM FICM haha. It's a fun truck for sure! My buddy got himself an 05 F350 Lariat about a year ago. ARP head studs, EGR delete, slightly bigger injectors, and a couple other bits and pieces. Picked it up for 9500 bucks with 250k on the clock with a new transmission. He just got a larger intake side for his turbo (63.5mm), so that'll be going in this weekend. That's the truck that made my dad want a 6.0

Those first few seconds were nerve racking as hell

Note: Didn't have mufflers on yet for this, so this is what it would sound like with just my downpipes (all cats are now gutted), X Pipe, and resonators

So I needed to get my midpipe slip joints welded on, and I also needed to check for engine lights (thankfully none!), so here's a cold start with just the gutted downpipes. I'd say that's pretty gnarly lol
