OrionStang Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Ran into the guy with the small block motorcycle, It is a Yamaha R1. Dude was suiting up to go ride; armored shirt, neck brace/harness, and full leathers. He tore out crazy as hell. He seemed a little edgy, maybe troubles on the home front LOL. Miguels Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 i knew it would be the R1.. about the only bike that sounds like a small block.. lots of them come close but not like the R1.. what exhaust did he have on it? my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
OrionStang Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Really short pipes, didn't see mufflers... I didn't ask too many questions. Like I said, he seemed kinda irritated. Ill get a vid eventually. EDIT: Its loud, in a good way, fucking loud. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

OrionStang Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Shit, that bike is 0-100 in the time it takes me to do 0-60 LOL. Been researching that motor (and others) since we started discussing this thing. I never realized that these streetbikes are inline 4's. Almost 200HP and weigh less than 500lbs. No wonder they scare the shit out of me. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Miguels Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 power to wight ratio..some people are too ignorant to see that.. if its the new bike it has 3 settings on it. just set it to the tame one, or you can get a 125 cc bike to get used to it. i used one in the safety course and it was easy to handle. it was like a toy to me compared to my liter bike.. my bike has 150hp and weights around 400lbs. i can get it to 100 mph on first gear.. 0-60 even to 100 is crazy fast my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

Miguels Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 the 2009 and newer are crossplane my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 A boss hoss is the only bike that truly sounds like a small block Chevy and that would be because it has one in it. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
