what type of wire do you recommend?

12 gauge ofc. If youre going to do it, do it right.

i'm sure some people may go bigger but honestly 12 awg is fine.

if you dont care that much then do 12 awg cca wire.

OFC and CCA are wire type of wire composition. In terms of brands check out Knukonceptz they have great prices!!!

12g for front and rear stage? i thought that was a Lil big? well i guess they really can't be to big right. but if that's what the pros use when my ct 60.4 gets here(placed the order today) I'm gonna run 12g. sorry to thread Jack just thought 12g was big

im using 16 gauge for doors. just make sure the wire can handle the power going through it.

im using 16 gauge for doors. just make sure the wire can handle the power going through it.

The 16g works good and all? I'm also a lil split between 16g or 12g for my doors I'm ready to order just not sure witch one, 16 looks like it'd be fine but I want to be sure its solid enough as I know the beefy 12 would be solid. oh I'm getting audio technix wire by the way if that makes a difference size wise?

i ran 16 ga to all my doorspeakers. my local audio shop carries Q power wire, pretty good stuff.

vehicle: 1998 2door tahoe

HU: kenwood single din

subs: DC level 4 18"

amp: hifonics 2500.1D and 1200.4

door speakers: 2 PWX 8"s and 2 random 6.5"s
