Am I damaging my woofer in cold weather?

last year i bought an FI SSD from someone who tore the spider from cranking it in the cold.

Yellow or gray spiders?

The general consensus here on the forum is that cold weather doesn't do much to your subs if anything at all so most go full tilt. Here in MN every winter it is double digits below zero so my own personal opinion is to ease into it in the cold. You are already doing that so just keep doing it, prolly don't have to but meh, better safe than sorry. $.02

I remember it had every option possible. Iirc the spiders were yellow?

Lived in Alaska and in -30 once the temp gauge was up to 1/4 full tilt all day.

Until the temp got up some I would slowly turn it up a little bit at a time. Just got to let the sift posts move a little to warm them up.
