scooter99 Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 First talk to N8. But if you wanted to put 2x's on the back wall, you could do it and where the port ends, or the visual portion anyway, do a 45* cut on them and stop them there. That way there are no sharp edges. Then if you need more, you could stack on top of those and then continue the 45* cut. So the second row would end at the short end of the 45* cut on the first row. FYI, every foot of a 2 x 4 (1.5" x 3.5" x 12") is equal to .036 (or .04) cubic feet. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
scooter99 Posted January 17, 2014 Report Posted January 17, 2014 another thought, for only a little bit more work, is if you wanted to run 2x's all the way across into port view, you could cover it with 1/4" MDF and then caulk the corners and paint it. You'd never know the difference. Just a thought. But I'm interested in N8's suggestions. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
