Has anyone ever seen/used these batteries? [Northstar Telecom Batteries]

Hey guys

Im from Brazil, and I've seen some people using these batteries in their systems:

http://www.northstarsitetel.com/1.0.1.0/188/NSB_100FT_Silver_Battery_%28SES-542-04-04%29.pdf

I asked those guys about it, but they couldnt tell me much as their system werent as power hungry as we are being used to here in SMD forums

They are preety cheap to get in here....and they look they can sustain the effort

These are made for telecom purposes...but it looks like they're "deep cycle"

Has anyone ever had any experience with these?

I've never used the telecom batts for systems, but Purpl Syrup has. A lot of them actually. I have used north star engine batteries in diesel pickups for our business for years. They are fantastic quailty and I've never had one fail on us.

They are telecom batteries. They aren't designed to be discharged and recharged like we use them in car audio. They do have some that are supposed to be designed for our application. With that being said I know they've been used for at least ten years for car audio applications and most have no issues

As I've said, northstar telcom are preety cheap here

We dont have acces to ANY other branded AGM you guys have there, its either optima or northstar (only telcom models)

XS Power is extremely rare and expensive

They are just like the C&D batteries guys here find and use, they'll be fine for your intend purpose and as N8 said they won't have as long a life as a dedicated high capacity and high discharge battery would, but you'll have no problem with them.
