read the post i just made in.the s10 box build right below this topic. but id try subs up port up against the glass(use a piece of paper or something on your window, window Down for a aid) then subs/port up against your seat. then the normal position and put it all the way to your seat. those.will be your best 3 options. if your box is on the small side you can Invert them for a Lil.extra air space and add poly fill(pillow stuffing) and In some cases that helps allot. it slows Down the waves and tricks the subs into "thinking" There in a bigger box. i use polly fill in all my boxes!

well the rule of thumb Is one pound per cubic foot..3cubic feet net 3lbs of polly fill. the best way is to use spray adhesive to glue it to the sides of the box. be sure not to plug up the vents. it's always helped Me. each of my 12s have 2.3 cubic feet net and 2lbs of fill tuned to 30hz. everyone says it sounds so clean and loud. it hurts some people but it's not loud to me anymore! cant wait for my 15s in a smaller vehicle. then each sub will have 3cubic feet maybe 3.5 we'll see what the car can take first

Also said he was a noob to car audio. I already reported this thread shouldn't be long before a mod sees it. I hope they pass it along to steve so we can get some lulz.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

He sent him a drawing on a napkin of a big subwoofer, this in turn made lead to the designing of the SMD subwoofer. I see his logic, he deserves money.

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
