zanekeimigdesigns Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Hey guys I have couple of questions about midrange sound. I have had some systems with subs and compenent speakers but to me all of my setups lack the quick midrange punch to fill in between my highs and my subs. For instance in my camaro I have an amped 6.5 component set in pods in my doors and amped coax 6x9 in the rear seat area and a ported twelve in the back. It sounds okay but there is something missing somewhere between the 6.5's and the sub. Hopefully I don't sound stupid. If anyone has any input thanks in advance.

Kevin M Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 In for answer on crossover points and sound deadening. It sounds like what you are missing is midbass. It is hard to get it right in a car. Those 6x9's should be doing work in that department though. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
