Guest Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 you need an amp that will do 600 watts at 2 ohms. edit: give us a (decent) budget and we'll check what amps you can get. mind you, you will very likely need a 4 gauge wiring kit.
alaskanzx5 Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 i have more power going to my 2 6.5s. those subs aren't going to do nothing on that power. if they are right and your getting 50x2 then your pushing your 12" subs as hard as im pushing my tweeters. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

What amp does your friend have in his truck? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
