truthsayer
Simply put it doesn't seem like the OP was being argumentative. Sounds like to me he was just asking some simple questions and wanting some opinions. Also it did not seem like he really cared about the amp, but rather just some what if's. Because there are so many people running below suggested ohm loads, he wanted to get their opinions. Some members did seem to jump down his throat and treat him like an idiot. While others did seem to be curteous. Just saying dam guys give him a break, he doesnt sound like a youngster coming in hear and mouthing off. truthsayer
CleanSierra
How is this thread still alive? Didn't you get what you wanted out of this thread? You asked if it could or should be run at that low of a load, you got an answer. I'm not sure what is going on anymore. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. DubNDodge
3rd time i said this. no oscope or dd-1 = invalid results. no oscope or dd-1 = easy to clip while clamping. clipping = false numbers. What? You might want to say this a few more times before he will listen. Krakin
So since someone suggested the video I'll post it. For more from him on electricity and the mysteries behind the witch craft of his creations go here, http://www.damoreengineering.com/freeeducation.html Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
