rsfm089 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 One I sold a rf p1000.1 for ninety dollars and kept a planet audio 3000.1? Second is right now I have two pioneer primers 500watt rms each bridge to one ohm on the planet audio its actually really loud for only costing me 180 bucks but I will be coming into about a grand soon and want to blow the whole thing on bass I have my heart set on the 1000 watt rms type R's I want to upgrade my alternator to a 150amp and run a second battery (already have a yellow top) i have the big three done already. I just don't know what kind of amp to use and is a 600 amp second battery to big and can I do all this with a thousand bucks I don't care about sound quality I just want to shake my car apart or at least try lol 96 Honda civic ex sedan
john253a Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 On a budget don't even look at what your lookn at Q1-2200 Hds3000 subs Around 750 Also look at sundown and dc They do some really good budged stuff
Skullz Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 You can get a really nice pair of subs and amp for under that budget along with a battery and wait on the alt as it can be as much as half of your current budget. There are many brands to choose from that will do what your wanting without breaking the bank. Get a pair of FI X12's http://store.ficaraudio.com/x12/ Amp to power them with. http://www.soundqubed.com/Q1-2200D_p_31.html 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
rsfm089 Posted February 13, 2014 Author Report Posted February 13, 2014 Powermax-usa makes a 150amp alt for 200 is this a good alt or some crap I'm kind of new to this so will the Fi car audio subs get my window flexing and what about a box I work construction so I can build with wood but if it comes to fiberglass I don't have a clue thank u for Ur input
hondakid1996 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 If you don't care about sound quality you might as well just throw 10 Walmart 10's in a sealed box on a Sony explode amp in there. If you just want loud distorted high notes. Honestly if you're gonna drop the money to do a build you might as well do it right.
rsfm089 Posted February 13, 2014 Author Report Posted February 13, 2014 That's what it is looking like I didn't think just an amp and sub would cost all the money I'm going to get that Q1-2200 amp for sure so half the budget is gone is buying car stuff off eBay a bad idea its cheap for a reason right
rsfm089 Posted February 13, 2014 Author Report Posted February 13, 2014 What about the ssd12 I like the thought of having 1000watt RMS if I have to hold off putting it in till latter that's fine
