Because we have 3 kids and never get alone time. So we are on are way there and have been gone maybe 15 mins and recieve a phone call from are babysitter saying that are dog got hit by a car. So we rush home as fast as we can and get stuck by a train for 15 min. ( live right by the train). We get there and there is a lady that is waiting with are dog. She was walking her dog and seen someone hit the dog and get out look at the dog and drive off but had no description of the person or car. So then the police show up and help me get the dog into the back of our truck and give us directions to closet er for animals. the dog is in horrible shape bloody breathing is distraught. Get to the er carry her on stretcher to room it her on table broken bones blood everywhere. Was horrible something that no-one should have to experience. Then they kicked me out of room and took xrays time god by and then they tell me she went into cardiac arrest and died. Was horrible she was a pit boxer mix and we took her in from a woman that was trying to find her a home because her owners didn't want her. we got her because we wanted another dog to keep are old black lab company.
