CleanSierra
DAYUM!!! you better be doing motor out or putting a window in the box. I say use the solid caps without the logo.Hey dude, I've been looking into getting some carbon fiber caps that are blank. Maybe even white and black weave. They are costly, but they may be what pops. One of those subs will be inverted between the seats, so you'll see the motor. P.S I have a good idea why you want me to run a blank cap, wink wink Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

03flairside
ive always done 49" wide by as big as you can stand with a 6" port firing into the passenger b pillar in my regular cab silverado with pretty good results

CleanSierra
ive always done 49" wide by as big as you can stand with a 6" port firing into the passenger b pillar in my regular cab silverado with pretty good results I have a lot more width than 49", so I'm using it. I've technically got 56" between the B-pillar trim panels. The trim piece is only 2-2.5" in depth, so I put the port forward of that too clear it and have plenty of room before the actual pillar starts. 49" would require me to have a much deeper box on top and bottom. I'm pushing it as is with the current design. I can't wait to cut all of the circles for the port.... Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. 03flairside
ive had better luck giving the port more room to breath than trying to get that extra .2 cube
CleanSierra
If it really were .2 cubes, I'd do it, believe me. It works out to more than that though. I'll do the math and post some comparison figured later. My port is going to be a 7" round one, and I'll have 6-7" of clearance as well. I can post those pics as well. This definitely isn't the first enclosure I've had in this truck with the side firing setup. If I thought there would be obstruction or choking, I wouldn't be comfortable with the design.
