Beefiest 8" sub in production

more cone are more output with less power. of course the the enclosure is everything at the end of the day.

sure bigger subs can hit low and with great output but so can small subs to. its just a matter of building a great box compared to an ok box. im sure if you look around on here you could find some 8s that got just as loud on a meter as a 15 or 18. not saying everyone can do it but it can be done.

some of the 8s that are being produced now are just crazy.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

its all enclosure. That 8 I posted played low as hell. Tuned to 32hz it would dig into high 20's..but I tuned the box low and it was on the larger side. When I had 4-12s..shitty 12's but still a large cone area I couldn't play that low because of the box. I peaked at 40 and could play to 30.

Looked at a few songs I liked on one if my last builds with 2 t2d412 in a 4 cube net roughly 40hz tuning. Songs got as low as 26-28 hz. Had another box for a single 12 tuned around 40 hz and I had to keep the volume down a little more for the same songs because the speakers just didn't like it.

The box has everything to do with it.
