SICKSPD
jesus almighty i want to use them in my build and invert them. them motah's need to be shown off unfortunately though it has a badass looking motor, the voice coil is still just 2" 09 Challenger R/T (Audio system under construction): Pioneer AVH-X4500BT (PAC RP4CH11 harness) (2) Sundown Audio SA-8v2 (inverted) CT Sounds AT1400.1D XS Power D3400 40 sq ft. Chris Hammer
jesus almighty i want to use them in my build and invert them. them motah's need to be shown off unfortunately though it has a badass looking motor, the voice coil is still just 2" 2 is better than 3. a quality 2" coil will take more then enough power for the 8. With a 3" coil you lose too much spider and mech limits decrease. Even the 2.5" on my custom sub took too much of the spider away. TRTC360
My sa-8v2 with one blown coil took my 3.5k at 2ohm all day without issues. Maxxed out suspension but the coil took the thermal abuse all day long.
