so buying a 3500 battery even if your running a 500w amp would be just fine. i just didn't know if there could be overkill. i know the Amp won't pull more then it needs.(meaning i know the bat won't give 3500w to the 500w amp)

so I'm running the ct 1400.1 which depending on who you ask is either a 1800w or 2400w amp at 1ohm. so i should get at least a 3000battery correct?

i think i will go with the xs power d3400. it seems like it has plenty of power for what I'm doing. do you think a 250 amp alternator will do just fine in this scenario?

We either recommend the D3100 or the D3400 as the auxiliary batteries. They both have decent AH. Just depends on how much you want to spend. I would definitely recommend upgrading the front battery as well
