Waterproof MDF.....?

I benefit from living in AZ where humidity is.....what's humidity? I'll be able to get away with coating both sides of the MDF and then using a bedliner top protect the outside. Any wood, before treated it's prone to warp and such. If it's sealed well, or shouldn't be a problem.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Will it have a removable lid or hinge on it

Gotta make sure that seal is flat/tight too

I had my battery box coated in bedliner, local place did it cheap...looks good, 100% weatherproof

it will have a top that is screwed/bolted down with a rubber seal, but i wont need to access it after installation.

I have a desk made of ldf, even painted after 10 years of spills and thrills, the liquids managed to lift paint in a couple areas. I vote resin first the paint.

Edit. Such grammar

i think im going to do the thin resin to soak in for coat 1, then 2 coats of regular resin. Then paint.
