Kai the answer for the RFs is that they are more like tweeters lol but they are considered full range speakers to cover the spectrum as far as clarity depends on gains on my HU n how it's all setup MY HU doesn't have a way to directly effect speakers except through their Hz frequency out of the deck. A little more sophisticated but works and the speaks are almost faced straight to the side and sound amazing just got to finish the pillars look and it should be good!

Are the pillars glassed yet? Or soaked in resin?

Btw, if you are planning on using 3M, good luck getting a good soak on them.

I soaked them had some holes I drilled In the back to her a better hold. And I soaked them twice and I have body filled it and no issues yet but I saw what you mean I didn't get a hold so I took it off and re did it all definitely not using that again

Yea fleece can be a bitch to soak if using 3M! I usually use plain old t-shirts (old icey whites that aren't so icey white anymore lol) Stretches really well and soaks up the resin fairly easily.

But yea about those 3.5s... Probably cross/bass block them at 800hz. I just want something that plays the highs but also can go below 3khz (where most tweets bottom out).

I was thinking of doing it the same way as you in the A pilars, but after measuring, it won't work without modifying my dash and/or lose a ton of visibility out the windshield.

The max trunk dims unmodified in our cars are 14.5h 32.5w and my box is 26deep. Check the build log. But there is only 1 other guy who fit 15's in our car and still stayed in trunk class with unmodified interior he used the curve of the spare tire well as the port... Other then that I think your stuck with modifying the rear deck, or having the 15's really far back sealed off.

2 dd9915's on 2 m4a's doing 153's out of the trunk. Beautiful build.

I choose the 12's route instead, fits much nicer and still has trunk space.

Yeah I was throwing around ideas for what or how I will port it and everytime I look I throw a 4th in the air or a port through the rear deck it's all in the air still I haven't planned planned but I have been focusing more on my electrical

Try the single sub sealed off firing forward first. I had everything designed, drawn up, and whatnot to do a pair of 10's in a 4th order in my car ffrom the trunk... it's a pain in the ass. It seems all fine and dandy until stuff gets down to the 1/8th inch clearance.
