oh man, i made a Mess everywhere! you warned me to... should have emptied the chamber before i opened the page

Told ya. She's got a booty on her :)

I don't understand the 24hz tuning. Motor force or not.

Why? I prefer musicality above all else, the 35+Hz tunings that most seem to do around here are intolerable to me (for regular ported, 4th and 6th are different). But even with a tuning this low, and an Fs of 21Hz (or lower depending on how broken in and how built) on these subs, it will still peak in the mid 30's. If you tune above 28Hz it gets peaky as shit.

The sealed curve actually looks really good.

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.

mysticlikes it Low! I've seen people here tuned to 18hz. i love lows personally. i think anything from 45-100hz sounds like balls! it's just a annoying buzz sound. i still put my hpf at 80hz on my amp and my lpf on 80 for my mid because i wanna hear all of my music. bu still dont like above 45 from my subs.

It's not that I need to play music at 24Hz. We both know there's not much there. It's that the rest of the response curve is flatter versus tuning higher. This will play fairly flat from 20-60Hz. But some demos at 20Hz aren't exactly a downfall either :)

The new cool thing is to tune super low so that way you can flex everything. Evidently that's where its at. lol
