gckless Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 So, think this is the final design. 10 cubes net, tuned to 24Hz, ~14in^2 per cube. Going in the back of a 4-door Blazer. Will be about an inch from the rear glass, port will be about 7" from the roof and sub will be about 9" from roof (just the way my roof is built, drops down near the glass). I'm thinking loading will be amazing. Powered by a DC 5.0k, wired to 1ohm. What do you guys think? Have it deadened with 2 layers of AT 80mil, and foam in between the roof and every brace. Have two 15's in there now, the roof moves a lot, but doesn't rattle or makes any noises. But, I don't really want to do that much work or commit that much in this vehicle. Plus, I don't really like the sound of a wall, even a C-pillar. Even with this much power, it should be musical.
