Ofc vs CCA?

Hmmm . . . if CCA were so great, why is the Car Audio industry the ONLY industry in the world using it?

I mean, why aren't the utility companies stringing it from pole to pole? After all, it's cheaper . . .

we do use aluminuim wire in powerplants not homes

i know i work in plants all day we use generally more in a plant then copper

OP, you could use a smaller gauge ofc in place of a larger CCA. I could be wrong but I am thinking that you pay about the same for the same current carrying capabilities. I try to keep everything out of sight so smaller ofc is what I would rather do, slightly easier to hide.
