It would seem to me that electrical is number one before anything so my question is... Is there a beginners book for car audio? I know the electric guru (can't remember name) has one but after looking it up I think it would be to advanced for me at this stage. Please let me know.

You don't really need a book. You have all the knowledge of this website and the internet open to you.

Just do your research, the search function works pretty good now. Read through build logs, the amount of stuff I've picked up just by seeing someone else do it in their build and remembering it for future use. If there's a question you need help with just find the right section and ask it. Legitimate questions usually get pretty decent replies as long as it hasn't been asked 20 times before so search your question before asking.

Put in the effort to learn without taking short cuts and the reward will stick with you for the rest of your life.

i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..

You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people.

As far as car audio electrical set ups, most of what you would need to get a handle on is amperage draw, relays can be referenced, HU as well, and stuff like that. The part that is most important is amperage, where you get it, the reserve for it, and the sufficient cable to carry it.

The best thing you can do is comb these forums...there is a lot of information out there in other places that isnt monitored whatsoever, so it lets people get on there and spread around all their filthy lies. There is plenty of false information out there to watch out for, and this is a good place to find the facts. Looking over all the build logs is a great way for inspiration too...you never know what other people have done that you would have never thought of. Just remember, were all sharing the same struggle. Nothing in car audio is "easy" lol.

Best of luck to you.

I don't claim to know how to solve anything, I just practice the basics. There is nothing worse than wasting hours over a problem that should have taken 5 mins. Anything I post and claim to know, I know simply because of a lesson learned from a mistake on my part.

96 Honda civic sedan loud but clean either 2 12s or one fifteen. I don't know if I can fit two decent 12s in my trunk new alt all 1/0 wire and maybe a battery in the trunk. Want to leave room to grow

Ok ... This a "tuner" car or a daily driver ?? If it's a tuner, you will be adding alot of unwanted weight deeming nitrus and turbo chargers basically useless ...

I'd start of with the big three under the hood with a strong battery. I doubt you will get one 15 in there with any room but you should have no problems with a pair of 12s ...
