Had to help get my buddies 18's over to local audio shop for recones. Also got 2 PA 18's in there. Needless to say he was trying to tell me that it would look pretty nice in my truck. Im not doing it. So down to business. Time to get the Mechman in. I came up to my job to do it cause it's a little on the cold side and wasnt gonna caught in the rain. So the shop was the spot. I should of recorded my friends reaction when he saw the difference between the two. He's not into the car audio so this was a whole new thing to him. And here it is all mounted up. That one run you see in the back is gonna go from Alt to the back. Im gonna do another run battery to back. Next stop battery. If it's worth building, it's worth over building. Right now it's just chillin in the cup holder I got to get some Lexan or something to make a mount to keep it on center console. Tip for the day of the install. If it looks like a short cut to get the job quicker. Dont do it. Sometimes the short cut might take you longer to do. If it's worth building, it's worth over building. ProMaxx316 Posted April 25, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2014 OK so i got some beats in the truck, I dont have any pics of running the RCA's and stuff cause i was in the zone and taking pics was the last thing going through my head. Got the D6500 in the bay. Soon i'll order up some toolmaker terminals for it. Heres what's getting put in. Airshocks did a good job of keeping it up Quick morning shot of how it sits. Yes the amp is mounted to the box for now. It'll move once i change up the subs. Planing to put 2 15's in it. The amp should find a better home. If it's worth building, it's worth over building. So after waiting around i saw that CT sounds had the ebay store loaded up with some deals. So i jumped on the 24sq.ft 60mil and got to work That's all for now. Getting started Boom done just like that. My first hit, sealed, dash, burp Then with a little adjustment we squeezed a little bit. I think I need a little more sauce. After a little more playing and next time I get on the meter will hook up the amm1 and see what kind of power the fl2 is sending and see what it's gonna take to hit the 50.
