I currently have 4 10 inch old school kickers powered by a piece of crap Autotek1500.1... my budget for subs is 400 or just a little more.. i plan on getting a sundown amp to power watever i get... and no i dont want to get some 12s or 15's.. i like the sound of 10's. BigManAC Posted March 26, 2014 Report Share Posted March 26, 2014 For $400 I think your best bet would be SoundQubed bc they are a very nice brand and wallet friendly. Look at the HDS 2 and 3 series. They have very nice SQ, I haven't had a chance to test SPL but I know their old 8's will move some air. Other than that if you stretch the budget look into Sundown SA or e, just a bit more but a really good brand. The electrical will b taken care of.. Ill post pics of what i made in a minute...
