boostin302
Whats your budget like? intel or AMD? talking about CPU's and GPU's. ( not a VS, some people have a preference) What kind of games are you looking to play and what kind of performance do you want to see from those games? ( high, medium, low settings wise) Are you needing everything for this computer build? ( monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc...) How much of the computer will be used for gaming and vice versa for school work. boom50cal
Do you really need the dvd writer? Just $24 but that's what, a pair of nice fans? or an adjustable fan controller? Krakin
If your at the top of your budget I say spend less on the monitor and put more into the video card depending on what games you plan on playing I'm not saying this is wrong, my opinion is that people tend to not upgrade monitors often at all. However, it seems more suitable to upgrade your GPU every year or two to keep up. I say stick with a good monitor so you don't have to worry about it for a long time. Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
