hankfan79
What would be the difference in wiring two batteries in parallel vs wiring both batteries to the power pole of a alternator? Provided both batteries are the same with same wiring. Alt + to Front Batt + Front Batt + to Rear Batt + or Alt + to Front Batt + Alt + to Rear Batt + What's the difference if any? hankfan79
Positive pole is big enough (Mechman). So drift you go straight from alt to rear battery? Any reason why?
SnowDrifter
Alt is where the power is coming from. So I go straight from there And on my car, easiest place I found to run wire was on the passenger side. Battery is on the drivers side. I'd go from alt, to driver's side for the battery, back over to the passenger side. It would have been a waste of wire. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Ok, so next question: This wouldn't be ideal if the rear battery was a smaller reserve battery would it? D925 in the rear.
alaskanzx5
I know mechman doesn't recommend running multiple wires from the alt. Talk with them about it. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
