2 runs of wire or 1

I have a 3.5krms amp, I have 1 main run of power wire it's old tsunami wire. Was gonna upgrade that to some sky high, should help voltage a tad but would it be better to do 2 runs of CCA instead of 1 run OFC? I'm sure some ppl would run 2

I would just do 1 run of ofc. Granted you will have the more potential to carry more current with two runs of CCa, but you will be using more fuses, holders, and lugs/ring terminals doing those two runs. Plus it can be a PITA to do multiple runs. Unless you are going under your car. Plus if you ever decide that you do want to run ofc, you wouldn't have to swap out the CCA. just add onto what you already have. That was my main reasoning behind doing OFC

5 runs, when you dont have the output to cover one run...... isnt over kill thats retard. A knowledgeable builder would look at that, and giggle inside.

Using your resources wisely, is as respectable as anything.

EDIT - Im NOT saying be cheap. Im saying use your brain, and get/do what you need for what your doing.......
