If it's not 5-axis then it's the same as a prius in my eyes..

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

Here you go my lady, our brand new 5-axis (don't know how to program for it yet, our software package isn't right)

That's like owning a lambo and not taking it out of first gear!

But for real, that is one nice piece of machinery!

Lol too bad our machines are used for completely different purposes

How big is your actual cutting area? Not 4 by 5... Most of the lathe style cnc's are 24" by 36" some are larger but you just don't need that much area for what you do

I just don't have the need to hog aluminum like that yet.... even Tho mine can easily cut it; I have yet to try

I'm going for more Plexiglas engravings glass etching

Speaker box making

Finally getting a nack for the software, I'm sure both of you know all about that LOL

God damn there's a small precise Lathe

Atc how many tools?

Edit:and most likely more than a lambo; can also make/do more than a lamb :lol2:

Now get it into second gear

haha actually that video I posted was machining 4140 steel lol I can and have run around 2x as fast in aluminum.

Those tool holders on that table is only about 1/4 of our total collection lol. We have everything from drill to 1/16th'' endmills to high feed 3/4'' cutters running almost 400 inches a minute.

The tooling package for the 5 axis is around $2k a year for just one license so its difficult to get the ball rolling on that lol
