islandpride684
I finally got some time to work on my box today! i bought 175 bucks worth of stuffs that i may or may not need. I didnt take many pictures when i was fiber glassing, i would have to take off my gloves to touch my phone, and its my first time glassing, so resin was EVERYWHERE not the best glass job, but not the worst! here is where i put the body filler, while i was sanding my port, i really dug in and i made a div-it. plus i wanted to fill in the screw holes. first time using body filler aswell i was testing some rock guard on the box. Thats what i'll be using to cover everything. Here is the stripping tool And did you buy these Or you can use credit cards, gift cards, whatever of that nature to smooth out your bondo Build Log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186921-blk9te-07-yukon-slo-mo-build/page-3?hl=%2Bblk9te#entry2881410

Phaeton
I got a package today! woohoo And my phone went dead because i used it to much. So i didnt get many pictures of me putting on the deadener. Not like its exciting or anything anyway, And here is it almost done. i still have 2 sheets that i will use tomorrow. i didnt have a roller, so i just made a fist and covered it with a rag so it moved over the deadener easier. Its not that bad of a job, could have been better but oh well. it is what it is. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin
Phaeton
Small updates today. My fiberglass resin is having trouble drying (i think because its too cold in my shop) so i put a small heater in my box and it worked good. its all dry so i can sand a little bit later on. I also seen some people not even sand, they just put a thick coat of paint. I might do that haha. These are the wires i did for my small mid range box that you can see on top of the big box in the last pic. I think its pretty neat, a little metal work for my box. I didnt really have a good idea what to do for the securing of the box to the truck, so im welding up a frame for my box to sit on. hows the weild? not bad for a 17 year old who hasnt welded in a while.

It looks stupid without it in there. still got room for a 3100 battery [or two] got some amps hooked up. Im really happy with my amp rack. I think it looks good And i was finishing all up. Open the shop doors and go to slam my truck doors shut when this happened... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU so this is my temp fix. By that time it was 2:39 am. no one likes you door and it sounds beautiful. I'll have a video of it playing later today. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin

goodvibez
Nice man...this really show how big it is once inside Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! Phaeton
Nice man...this really show how big it is once inside It really is quite large. I thought i would save a lot of space haha. I might just do a single woofer wall LOL. But damn, This woofer hits waaay harder than my four 15's i had. I am really happy with this and pretty excited about buying the new amps.
