meade916
No its the fact that he trimmed the cases down so they were easier to flush mount. Something no one has done yet to my knowledge. Ir its the molex plug and the way it lays into the piece he made without having tp fight with it. at least thats what I noticed from my perspective nope. goodvibez
The most unique? Kinda hard to put your finger on the most unique! Seeing as the whole is soo clean and custom! I would have to say other than what people have already said when you turn the meters on and all including the vm-1 sweep the led's from one side to the other and back, because i thought only the tm-1 and om-1 do that? My original vm-1 doesnt do that...but Tony is fixing that for me right now If thats not it, i think you should tell us! Quote Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! rockFord_Expedition
It's hard to say what's "most" unique in this stage of the SMD Tahoe evolution. Literally, by the definition of unique, it's got to be the relocation of the HVAC, combined with the XSPower voltage control module, and the air bag controller (sorry if i'm saying that wrong). because even though I know of very few vehicles with the SMD meters in them, I know fewer with that type of work done and hidden under the arm rest. So many unique and awesome features in here. innovative placement of things, ingenuity, wire management, body work, craftsmanship too hard for one to stick out. goodvibez
ok now its bugging me...have to take another stab at it... Is it that you color matched the dash bezel to the tahoe(along with the new guages)? I noticed it was painted at the beginning of this project but I thought maybe you had done that earlier and I just didn't notice it then... ...if that's not it I give up! Hotdog
your gauge cluster is removable on a slide track? hard to tell because there is an extended piece on the other side that we did not get a clear picture of. also almost looks like a hidden storage area behind the cluster on the right side if you are facing it. goodvibez
Oh yeah....so you attached it to the change holder and made it so you can slide the the gauges in and out and still have a little place for some change....thats pretty cool!
