Financially it was just smarter to trade that in than my wifes F150 so I got the hand me down. Its a 2007 F150 FX2 fully loaded with 35k miles. I figured I wasnt going to be going fast in this truck so what better than a banging stereo system for a cruiser/ daily driver. I started lurking around the forum back in maybe 2011 and really started searching around last November to get this build rolling. Here is a list of the equipment I will be running' 3- SoundQubed HDC318s 2- SoundQubed 3500.1s 1- SoundQubed Q4-120 1 set for now RE Audio XXX 6.5c 150 ft SHCA 1/0 OFC 1- XS Power D6500 under hood 4- Deka Group 31 AGMs in toolbox Tons of fuses/ holders, 1/0 ring terminals and other stuff Singer 320a alt on the way Pics of progress and equipment, let me know what you all think. Box is just over 21 cu. ft. net tuned to 34-35hz Thats it for now got the front battery installed and Big 3 done but I guess I didnt take any pics. Hope to have her playing next weekend. I see LOTS of toys here and there! lol Yes I love me some toys I just get bored with them very easily, I anticipate the same happening with this honestly but for the time being it really has my attention I see another repeat of thomas's truck.....bighossf150 in for 8 12's in a wall lol Just kidding man, sweet work. Hope to see it at some shows this summer. I have read through his build log so many times just because he has an F150 as well as CJ18's logs. Doubt I will make any shows its more just to play around with and I dont think there are any local to me anyways, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas are all 8-10 hour drives. I know Albuquerque, NM and Lubbock, TX have an annual event and I might make it to those but there is no telling with me. Will update with pics as I go.
