tacomaguy1 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Yes it would help Lots of people do 3/4, I did Team Flex Issues
Aj11 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 really 3/4? that seems really thick. 1/8 would keep the shape of the roof. you could even double and triple it up jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
Rockford96 Posted April 23, 2014 Author Report Posted April 23, 2014 Ok cool ill probably stick with 1/8 maybe double up if I have the soace should I just use loctite pl? My setup, Digital Designs M80 3 Re audio 10's ported tuned to 36 hz Kenwood x-696 SHCA 0 gauge Polk audio coax running off hu
bighossf150 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 I have 3/4" mfl liquid nailed to the roof, 2x4"s screwed and glued to the met and the gaps filled with foam, it's solid as shit Used to have a loud truck 2009 Corvette Z06, H/C/I, 150 shot, g force tune, 730rwhp/690rwtq 2013 F-150 limited, MPT Tune, leveled on 35"s
ChevyBoy95 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 you essentially kerf the wood... so even if it is 3/4" it will bend with the roofs contour.
