Nice build sounds pretty loud and clean, doors are coming along, I like the placement of the speakers looking good keep up the excellent work. I'm tuned in

Thanks! Originally, I planned on having the speakers being in a straight line horizontally.. but my seat bolsters wouldve been in the way. I was actually a bit bummed that it wouldnt have worked out.

Mocked up, this placement didnt look bad.. it just wasnt what I preferred.

But now with it all playing and installed, i really dig it :good:

Thanks for the comments and support :D

Nothing ever works as planned when doing car audio. At least your still able to do what you wanted and it looks and sounds great too.

Isn't that the truth.. We need to be good at improvising LOL

Also hard to be so close and not hear them I am just weird and very anal about builds. I started building where unless I want more work, I have to wait. It sucks and it is cool at the same time as it pushes me to finish or get damn close before I hear it. So builds get done faster as I become more impatient to hear them.

Today was payday.. and I'm waiting for my check to clear. When it does.. Im ordering some short strand body filler and a new dremel. Mine took a shit a few days ago.

I also made up my mind on how I'm finishing the doors/pillars. I was thinking of flocking, for a suede look.. but didnt know that that'd hold up on the doors.

Im using tintable UPOL Raptor Liner, which is a bedliner. I don't mind having a texture.. i actually like the uniqueness and strangeness.. I just don't want it to look like I have painted pebbles on my doors LOL

I found that if I spray with like 70grit, i should be all set. Recommended is like 45-70psi. Apparently as you increase pressure, texture smoothens out.

On monday, Im going into work at noon and working later. This allows me to go to my local Sherwin-Williams in the morning to get paint that matches my interior. I read and was told to get a urethane base coat with no binders, so thats what Im gonna do. I just didnt realize how expensive 12oz of paint could be hahah.. Then again, I guess you gotta pay to play
