MACnonsence6
so all of my lugs on all my wires are either soldered or very very ghetto crimped by using a hammer and a steel pin. so im going to get some lugs from skyhigh and a crimper will skyhigh 1/0 lugs work well with my knu cca 1/0 and will this crimper be enough to do what i need it to http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-Ton-Hydraulic-Wire-Terminal-Crimper-Battery-Cable-Lug-Crimping-Tool-9-Dies-/390680393699?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5af65db7e3 I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Lbox88
You can get away with either, but if you have the extra $15 I'd get the 16 ton one Rich linked. UBL | Build Log

SMZ2
The 16 ton should work for the 2/0 I use one of the smaller dies for my skyhigh 1/0. There are some big dies in the kit. Karkov
I have the 16 ton almost identical if not identical to that one linked above and I have and use SHCA 2/0 OFC and the dies go even bigger than that. You will have no problem. They go pretty small too. I know I have used them for 4 ga. wire 3 different brands of OFC and there were smaller dies yet. I love having my crimper. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. jakmagic
I can't believe how hard it is to find a battery cable crimps at a local store. I tried Menard's, Fleet Farm, Auto zone, O'Reillys, True Value, and etc.. Only place that had one available was oriellys and they wanted $349 for the long handle hydrolic one and $58 for the dye type you hit with a hammer! What a joke! I'll just have to solder or borrow one from my old work. (Be nice to have my own though). 97 Buick LeSabre with stock 140 amp alternator XS Power D3400 (under the hood) using pdb distro blocks Big 3 done with 2/0 ga welding cable Alpine CDE-HD149BT head unit CT Sounds Meso 6.5" components CT Sounds 60.4 CT Sounds 1400.1 Fi Q 12 D2 with cooling in 2.5 net tuned @32 hz (box built by Sound Mekanix Customs) Bunch of Sky High 1/0 ga & 4 ga cable (plus fuse holders) Connection BT2 & BT4 550 (Audison) RCA's Bunch of Mojo Mat
