Best Price for ~10krms?

Trying to plan for my power upgrade...

With the coils i have i can do [4 dual 2's]:

1. 1 big amp at 1 ohm

2. 2 smaller amps at .5 each (1 ohm strapped)

3. 4 small amps at 1 ohm each

end goal is 9-10k rms.

edit: I would prefer the best cost 10k, meaning quality but with more friendly value.

what i have been looking at.....

1. Used DC 9.0

2. Used Cactus K9 (9k)

3. B2 m1u (9.9k) [out of my price range atm]

4. 2 CT 4k's (would put me close to 11k @ .5)

5. crossfire x8

6. AQ20k

maybe a HD8000....

The DC9K is their high voltage line, I'm not sure if you're wanting to run 14-16V.

Have you seen any of the American Bass used, like the 1100.1?

I don't know what the Crossfire 8k achieves at 14V. They rated it at like 12.4V or something. That may get you close to your 10K goal.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Depending on your electrical a used AQ20 would be nice. Depending on your time frame, Tantric might also have something pretty up their sleeves

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

DC 9k does 9k at 14, which is fine. Looked at X8's as well, forgot to list them. dont want american bass.

Two hd8000's 2 ohm versions at 2 ohms each. I have one in my car right now wired at 2 ohms rising to 4 ohms and is making 6300w clamped dropping to 12v with a stock alt. The best thing about these 2 ohm amps is they make their power with high rail voltage rather than high amperage and wiring at dangerously low impedences. High amperage melts coils. Just a few things to consider, not that any of your other choices are bad.

only issue is there arent a lot out there, aka results, reviews, testing, blah blah blah. But for the price..... a VERY VERY viable option.

and where did you get yours from? and how is CS? warranty? blah blah blah.

Understandable, I was leary at first. I got my first one in and have been testing it for about 2 months, liked it so much I ordered two more. The warranty and cs is phenomenal, they have a sticker on the bottom of the amp with a date, you send it to a repair center in new york no questions asked and they pay return shipping.

sounds good, only thing, since i meter in USACi at local shows, those 4 ohms ratings which is what USACi goes by..... will RAPE me. Basically put me against guys doing almost mid 60s or close to (more like 61-62's).

who did you buy through though? pm me?
