Mr DeeBeez Posted May 16, 2015 Author Report Posted May 16, 2015 couple layers of white laid down. got a couple of spots with a little bit of runs, but overall turned out pretty good for my first time painting a box. started putting clear coat on tonight. should be done with paint tomorrow, and get it pretty much built too! We've pulled 4 3/0's through some 1 1/4 flex pipe like that in a bind at work before.... wasn't fun but it worked for a temp fix while waiting on the supply house to get some 2 1/2 steel flex in. I was gonna just run a second split loom covers wire, but it's $.99 per foot, when I paid $1.20 a foot for the wire itself, didn't think that was worth it, so I found a 24' hose for like $10. This way it's completely sealed off from outside conditions, and it was a lot cheaper. And hey, if I want to run more wire, I can easily pull off the hose, run it through, and hang it back up! Box is almost done. Just gotta caulk seems, and glue/screw on the top. It's getting there! Pics will be up later.
