Ever wire a 1 ohm stable amp to 0.5 ohm?

i ran a crossfire 1700d at .25 ohms with box rise it was fine

What voltage did it go into protect? Did you have a digital volt meter on it?

Yes.,,, CT Sounds 1400.1 with a soundqubed HDC 3 dual 1 ohm 12" sub. Took it like a champ and never got hot. No problems

CT sounds is good? I believe I recall seeing your build log you switch brands? no more CT sounds?

Higher the amps worth = scarier it is. lol

I did it with a DC 5k and it worked no problem. No protect either.

I've never wired below 1ohm on any 1ohm stable amp out of fear of destroying equipment BUT I see local/forum guys do it all the time with what seems to be no trouble at all. Then again, they have massive electrical, quality gear and normally have a good sense on the volume knob.
