Phaeton
So im the champion of stupid, let me explain: I was showing off my car to my dad, Me being me i went through everything. I wanted to show him the trunk last [it closes automatically] So i forgot my keys in the ignition, lock the doors and close it. Bam. locked the only keys i had to it inside. The real question is HOW can i open my door and or retrieve my keys? anyone have experience opening '85 caddy doors? i phoned the local towing company and they said i might be able to, but they guarantee i'll break something in there. Everything in my doors work 100% and that's the way i want it to stay lol. 1997 subaru legacy outback Four 15's in a almost wall Rockford Fosgate t2500-1bdcp Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on tweets Rockford Fosgate T400-4 on highs Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midrange Rockford Fosgate T400-2 on midbass Optima Yellow top batteries 270A Singer alt (working on a bracket for a second) Lots of Second Skin

JNells
You can try to pry the door back just enough to get a wire clothes hanger in there... (If done just enough, the door won't be permanently bent) get creative bending and angling the wire hanger to hook to door handle/locks. Or find someone with a slim Jim... Edit: if it's framed Malibu Build Log
Pioneerchuck
The best thing to do is call a locksmith and have them come out and pick the lock. If you dont they'll have to pry the top frame of the window outwards and then try to unlock the door through the gap. Most chances are in those cars, they'll bend the top of the door and it's a pain in the ass to reset and have it look right again.

I was sitting there with a copper welding rod trying to get the lock up for about 30 minutes and at least 20 people staring at me while i do it until i got a surprise visit from a guy who owned caddys his whole life and was like yeah man, just do this.... 10 seconds later it was wide open. i thought it was pretty funny how little time it took him to get in haha. Thanks for all the help guys!
