The 12 spoke basket has always been outsourced from damn near every company, same with the 6 spoke and the last 2 version baskets dd used, and dc baskets.

No company will admit it on a forum or to their customers...

But hey the company claims made in usa, so it must be usa and every other company that says it is full of lies because its not your brand of choice.

I cant speak for the TI, but with as many times that the basket has shifted patent owners, one can only imagine.

and I agree to the fuck a 12spoke basket comment....

but yet so many companies seem to use them over and over and no one is doing r&d themselves to make their own, and something better except that once company that was brought up in this thread for being made in china....

Funny how these sundown parts on a btl motor make a whole new monster.

Just saying

GO CHINA!

Sundown is built and assembled in the US if im not mistaken?

nope. all china parts. its put together in the US.

every Fi woofer uses US materials, except the ferrite for the magnets because that stuff is expensive as HELL if you buy it here.

Bet you dont know where the 12 spoke baskets come from?

Heres a hint, its not usa.

Sorrry but this whole china thing gets sickening, time after time after time.

So fi is held to a higher standard than another good company because made, and assembled with usa parts, but now you just said the ferrite come from china, and well so do the baskets.

What makes fi so great using some Chinese manufactured parts, compared to another company doing the same, but is always looked down upon due to the same techniques?

give me five bucks then, cause i did know the generic 12 spokes are from china. i just didn't put that in.

Ok so now thats 2 that know they are from china....

Either way point proven, and you probably didnt say that because it makes Fi seem like less of a company since they are not the high all mighty made in usa with usa only parts, when not only does the ferrite, but the baskets come from china....

But yet people are so damn dumb to admit their own company that they love so much and believe anything they say is true is correct, when another company is looked down upon for using china products.

No one has the balls on this forum to talk down about RF gear, and the RF bdcp amps being made in china I bet, or how many of you have been using alpine headunits, amplifiers, speakers, woofer for the last 7-10 years? More china... The list keeps going.....

Bottom line, all china products are not bad... If the company using said chinese parts holds these parts up to even a higher quality control standard, and takes care of their dealers, retailers, end users if a legitimet product arises, than there should be ZERO issue if its from china... China owns the USA, get over it, or get off your lazy asses and work a minimum wage job and not demand 15$ per hour for flipping burgers....

oh and if you really want $5bucks pm me your paypal kranny, because all you did was show how biased a nut hugger can be about a company they stand behind and leaving out critical information in such a thread where its presented all fi is 100% usa.

So accepting that $5 would just prove the above even more! :P

MURICA!!!!!!!!

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

nah thats okay. i still support chinese built woofers like soundqubed because they get into the 160's in dailys. their woofers are competitively priced and perform well. friend of mine had two sdc2.5 10's and he played louder AND lower than i could with level 3 12's. same amp.

if the products are put together well, then who gives a crap if its chinese. if people wanted to stray away from korean amps but still wanted good power, then there goes 80% of the market choices and up goes the amount of your budget.
