I know of a favorite that was already in the "fuck we cant compete" stage, unless we just do recones. ( YUPPPP, all sorts of comedy there) So,... now.. Im going to OVER pay, for OVER BUILT.... seems there are a few others here doing the same. What im NOT gonna do? is OVER pay for SHIT BUILT. Period. EDIT - i was told a price someone paid, for a certain driver today. FUCK Im close to that one with 2 of my fully loaded drivers, that, well in MY own opinion, would stay up with, (and im my true opinion) walk on said driver. Im gonna stay, with what i KNOW. ...... That is not what this debate is about though.... I can care less what your opinion is on the best woofer manufacture, and what woofer you use... Its irrelevant. You like Fi we understand that, I like Fi too. I also use Fi woofers and have 4 UFO BTL 18s in my bedroom right now, along with 4 Ascendant Audio Mayhem 15s, and an Ascendant Audio SMD 18. Thats not counting my 2 old Mayhem 18s I use to run, the 2 Fi SSD woofers I ordered for another kid, the Fi BTL N3s I ordered for a friend. What I dont like is a company making false statements about their products, and every company is guilty of this from time to time. You guys are putting Fi on some pedestal because "you think, and believe everything the manufacture says is true" that they are assembled in usa with all usa parts, and clowning on companies that have their lower entry drivers assembled in china. Point is, just because something is outsourced to china (baskets, tooling, whatever it maybe) doesnt mean its "SHIT BUILT" like you are boldly saying. Your views are very biased to say the least and cant admit it, maybe its because its the only product you have had experience with, or its just pure nut hugging like a lot of uneducated buyers do.
