oldsoundguy Posted May 19, 2014 Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 From what I have read and seen on the amp dyno that Steve has done the Rockford amps put out over rated good power. Also most quality subs are under rated. FWIW I had a CT Sounds 1400.1 running a single HDC 3 12 wired at .5 ohms and it never got hot or even had any smell.
