that car is in super good shape that rust is nothing for a paint and body shop. I know some shops would choose working your roof over working on other peoples work. come up with a good game plan then put it in a step by step build sheet on paper. Get some one who's done this before to look the car and build plan over and give you advise. Stick to the plan do one thing at a time and your first build should come out very well.

As far as shipping it try Uship.com its like ebay for truck drivers. I know some of the drivers on there will let you ride with them.

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.

Dude thats awesome! Perfect, it only has surface rust which is no biggie at all! Only problem you might have is the floor boards, the car is sunk in the ground, wonder if they're still solid.

i would say screw painting it, just sand the car down smooth leaving the rust then clear over it all. we did it with an old chevy truck. looks bad ass.
