First, please DO NOT go off telling me why crimping is bad, and I should invest in solder. I'm aware of the decision I'm making and don't need to explain myself past that.

my question,

I need a crimper capable of crimping 1/0 Knu Kandy Kable. Any recommendations are welcomed, but trying to stay under $100 for a quality piece. Also, do I need to buy special lugs for crimping? Or do the basic lugs off of knus site work fine?

There have been some good threads about crimping lugs on wires. Most like them so you wont get any crap about it. Someone even did a cut through of a crimped lug and it was like a cold weld and solid all the way through. I just might pick one up for the next time I do wiring.

I crimp as well^^^

No need for solder when you have a good crimper. It saves a BUNCH of time being able to crimp also.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Right on thanks for the support guys. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on that 16 ton crimper listed above.
