thiggles Posted June 6, 2014 Report Posted June 6, 2014 so I have 2 T1's behind a t1500.1bdcp. So one day I hear some terrible rattling coming from my trunk. so I get out and see that my quarter panel completely cracked at the seam. I have never experienced this. ive jb welded it but it just recracked. anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do to repair this damamge, and a permanent fix this? I drive a 2011 subaru legacy.

thiggles Posted June 8, 2014 Author Report Posted June 8, 2014 ok so here we go. it took me a really long time to figure this out lol. thank god for youtube... but back on the topic. I think these are really odd cracks.. never have i experienced this before
hispls Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 I'd get a piece of sheet metal to reinforce it on the back side with some good epoxy. Like patching a pair of jeans with blown out knees. Once you've patched the back you should be able to bondo, glass, JB weld, or whatever to fill the crack then touchup paint and buff. *EDIT* I'd also guess that 1500W didn't do that. More likely that car has been bumped there before or had some other issue to cause that stress originally.
