Should I buy a new HU for a better Preamp voltage?

That's true, it's just not nearly as noticeable as people think. SQ people with their cars nearly isolated from outside noise and engine off will notice. Unless you are doing that OR have a large number of amplifiers it is very doubtful you will notice the difference.

I guess I could end up getting like a EQ/Line Driver? Would that work to boost my RCA's Voltage plus let me run another set of RCA's for a 4 channel? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6655_Clarion-EQS746.html

That EQ would work for what your looking for if its more cost effective than buying a HU. Total depends on what your gaols are? Hell i ran the Cheap Pioneer that came in the car i bought, I think it had one rca preout and i used the high volt speaker signal and hooked it up to my LC7(linedriver) to convert into more rca outs and using my DD-1 to tune everything it made a cheap deck sound great with more preouts.

some of the jvc EXAD decks let you change the preout voltage from 2v to 8v I think it was, kool little feature (in your position i'd look at upgrading the deck)
