Moving my system from a hatchback to a truck. How much different will it sound

2 12's sealed box off of 1000w rms. I'm turning my vw gti lease back in and picking up a pick up truck. It will be an extra cab with plenty of space for my 2ft^3 enclosure but what I'm worried about is it sounding different? I know the cabin peaks are going to be different than what I'm used to.

Can anyone here tell me what to expect? As you can figure this set up sounds amazing in the solidly built GTI hatch. I live for 30-35hz bass and I'm scared the bass response is going to be disappointing in the pickup truck :-/

No one will know the answer to this.. You have to put it in there and tell us

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

There's just too many things to factor in.. Back when I had my old crappy system in my Grand Am, it was banging.. Just a couple crappy JVC 12's in a sealed prefab.. Then I moved into a 97 Explorer.. Everybody said it was going to be louder and sound way better with all the extra air space. Well long story short it didn't.. Everything that was in my Pontiac was moved into the explorer.. RCA's, Amp, Subs, Head Unit, hell I even gutted my Polk speakers I just bought and through them in there.. And it wasn't as loud as my car..

But since I moved into an explorer I was able to do things I could never do in the small trunk of my grand am..
