mrd6 Posted June 24, 2014 Report Posted June 24, 2014 You should be able to get new xp3000s for 300 or less shipped. Shop around and see if you have any local bassheads who are xs dealers. My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL
Marquisboys Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 Should i be getting the D series from XS power or the XP series for a secondary battery? Theres a pretty big price difference between the two. 2004 Grand MarquisAA Mayhem 18Crescendo 3500d6.5's AQ Pro AudioAQ Super TweetsImage Dynamics 6x9Soundqubed 125.4MB Quart 80.4144.2 db GONZO 2013 Chrysler 300S Granite Crystal Metallic Exterior Inferno Red Interior 5.7 HEMI AWD LMI Air Hammer Intake Corsa exhaust Custom Tune
audiofanaticz Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 D series is way stronger, personally I wouldnt buy the XP series of batteries. Thats just my preference tho because Id rather pay a little more for the D series. But everyone isnt going to have the same view as me. So its up to you. But the XP series should not be used under a vehicles hood, so as long as your not putting it under the hood than you should be fine with either or I guess.
Marquisboys Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 By stronger do you just mean built better? Just realized your in Wisconsin also lol i wish there were more bass heads around my area. 2004 Grand MarquisAA Mayhem 18Crescendo 3500d6.5's AQ Pro AudioAQ Super TweetsImage Dynamics 6x9Soundqubed 125.4MB Quart 80.4144.2 db GONZO 2013 Chrysler 300S Granite Crystal Metallic Exterior Inferno Red Interior 5.7 HEMI AWD LMI Air Hammer Intake Corsa exhaust Custom Tune
Miguels Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 i seen a test done and even though they tried to make the XS look bad it recuperated much more quicker and a higher voltage than the one battery they wanted to come up on top.. even with more load to it just something to think about my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
Marquisboys Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 Yeah i think i'll go with the XP3000. I've always loved XS power lol nothing but good products coming from them 2004 Grand MarquisAA Mayhem 18Crescendo 3500d6.5's AQ Pro AudioAQ Super TweetsImage Dynamics 6x9Soundqubed 125.4MB Quart 80.4144.2 db GONZO 2013 Chrysler 300S Granite Crystal Metallic Exterior Inferno Red Interior 5.7 HEMI AWD LMI Air Hammer Intake Corsa exhaust Custom Tune
TaylorFade Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 I am, in fact, doing a small battery roundup this week. And the Crescendo is included in the lineup. If you can wait a few days to make your purchase, you will have much more information.
Marquisboys Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 Yeah i can wait for sure. 2004 Grand MarquisAA Mayhem 18Crescendo 3500d6.5's AQ Pro AudioAQ Super TweetsImage Dynamics 6x9Soundqubed 125.4MB Quart 80.4144.2 db GONZO 2013 Chrysler 300S Granite Crystal Metallic Exterior Inferno Red Interior 5.7 HEMI AWD LMI Air Hammer Intake Corsa exhaust Custom Tune
audiofanaticz Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 See I thought I seen him doing the crescendo battery too. I don't care which batteries are better or not, I'm going to buy from the company and staff that comes to shows, hang out with other competitors/bassheads, gives products to competition judges for raffles and prizes, and if I have an issue/question/concern I can normally pick up a phone and talk to Scotty, Nathan, or Byron with ease. I can care less about a product being made if its held to a high quality control, same goes for any product. I know the NSB.90s have been some of the strongest batteries in Street A and Street B (when your only allowed 1 800cubic inch battery under the hood, car must be off when your competing), and find it funny how 1 person is claiming to be the guy who made NSB known, when Street A/B competitors have been using nsb.90s for over 8 years if not longer. Now how these other non telecom batteries compare from the same company I don't know, but again really don't care due to my above statement about customer support. I do know I dont like the SAE style posts on them if they cant be removed because it makes them look rather ugly imo.
